Yetra

The luminous world of Yetra is a serene utopia home to the benign Elundri.  Benevolent and peaceful, these graceful creatures live to create balance to the universe.

The Elundri have ivory skin and sport shimmering silvery white hair which is often accompanied by a shock of green or blue and hues in between.  Their eyes tend to be warm, colored like the vermilion rays of the setting sun. Elundri often travel to Trugan, the mortal realm, to aid the humans in their daily struggles.  The Elundri have long been called angels by mortals, however, while they do posses many angelic qualities the Elundri do not possess wings nor can they fly or levitate. Their magic does not work like that. The Elundri are adept healers, and life bringers. Many Elundri are schooled to heal the sick, mend the wounded. While others are adept at growing plants and stimulating earth. The Elundri are crucial to sustain the Balance of Light and Dark forces.

The High Templar of Yetra

The High Templar is sovereign and divine leader of Yetra.  He or she is chosen by the Gods and will remain High Templar for a millennia. Following the horrors of the Convergence; a dark war in which countless Elundri souls were lost to the ravaging demon hordes of Shaadiv, the residing High Templar, Tholan, disappeared. It is believed by many his grief drove him in to exile.  Four centuries have passed since a High Templar has occupied the ivory walls of the Temple of the Elan. Until...

Vendrevin Khalish

By Elundri standards he is but a boy.  However, this young lad has been chosen by the Gods themselves as High Templar of Yetra.  He is a warm fuzzy bundle of compassion and love.  His gentle smile and warm disposition are infections. Despite his boyish stature he is brave, loyal and enthusiastic to a fault.  He's still getting used to his station and he has longing to wander.  In the few years after his appointment as High Templar, Vendrevin is already growing restless.  Before he can begin to understand the enormity his role the young Templar is lured away from all that is familiar.  Strange dreams begin to plague his sleep.  The dream show him horrid visions of pain and war - which can only presage disaster for his people and his realm.  When his search for answers reveals turmoil in Trugan, Vendrevin sets out to discover how his dreams may be answer to the growing problems.

The Élan and the Dark War

The Elan are formidable Elundri fighters and possess a particularly proficient skill at harnessing Holy Magic.  The Élan are born in to there status. A small swirling tattoo appears upon the left breast of an Elan child.  An Elan seem no different from any other Elundri...yet when these marked children began to be born all knew it was a mark from the Gods.   Yet, after the Convergence ended these specially skilled warriors felt out of place in a peaceful world - forever marked  - They felt like a reminder of dark days - symbols of death and sorrow. Many Elan exiled themselves to the uncharted recesses of Yetra, leaving behind family and friends to never be seen or heard from again. Until...  (Yeah, I like doing that).

Elan Warriors

Draga  Tsubotai

Draga and Tsubotai are relics from a tumultuous period in Elundri history.  When Vendrevin seeks his father, Aravyn, for advice about his terrifying dreams, Aravyn does not wish his son to leave the protective borders of the realm to look for answers. A few Elan warriors have kept in touch with the friends and family they left behind. Trying to convince his wayward son to stay put, Aravyn introduces Vendrevin to two veterans of the Dark War.  Tsubotai is an Elder, one of few to survive the first great battles of the war.  Tsubotai took the name of a human warrior he befriended centuries past that died along side him on the battlefield.  Draga was a young man when he came to fight against the Demon Horde.  A fateful battle with a Kontagion claimed Draga's left eye.  These two are prime examples to show my audience that not all Elundri are cute little marshmallow's like Vendrevin.  However, Vendrevin is not a complete push over when conflict ensues. ^_^
