mortals they love to pray upon. Below are listed the three

powers.

The mythos of the
demon world Shaadiv is presently entwined with the chronicle
of Shaadiv himself. He is believed to be the Beginning of
demon-kind. It is common knowledge that he can take many forms, male
or female, corporeal and non-corporeal. Demon history alludes to
numerous enigmatic appearances of Shaadiv. None of which can be
established definitively. However, there is a long-standing debate
on his true origins as well as his genuine appearances. Each demon
tribe has a philosophy, which ultimately favors their respective
bloodlines.
A commonly spoken prophecy states that Shaadiv left spawn of his
blood during the formation of The Dark Storm*. Many affluent demons’
claim this bloodline, but there is little known by the common
populous on how to confirm this. The prophecy indicates that
Shaadiv’s children are blessed with his innate powers, that of
Chaos, an integral part of the Balance. Their arrival and inevitable
unveiling are to signify an illustrious and revolutionary shift in
the cosmos. Many speculate on what that change will be. Some
historical scholars feel the Balance will shift and Chaos will usurp
Order or vice versa. It depends on whom you talk to. The demon
hierarchy is full of those who claim the Shaadiv bloodline.
Eristock Ghendri, Lord of Havoc, former General to the Dark
Horde and Queen Hahtra Bhevya of Sebalia are two powerful
demons attempting to secure the authenticity of their bloodline.
The Dark Lord Ruzabel, also known as the Sanguine Emperor or Blood
King, a powerful and truly primeval Kontagion, is one of the last
known and confirmed possessor of the Shaadiv bloodline. Ruzabel
currently reigns over the demon realm from his figurative ‘Shadow
Throne’ in the depths of Hell’s Labyrinth. Ruzabel is the demon
responsible for the negotiations with the Elundri Gods Maetean and
Haertoh in bringing about the truce of which concluded a bloody war
between the realm of Yetra and Shaadiv.
*The Dark Storm is the
collective entity that makes up the amassed souls of the damned. It
is the energy that powers the Chaos with in the known universe. Many
elder demons seek to merge with The Storm in hopes their souls will
transcend to a god-like status and ceaselessly serve Shaadiv for all
eternity. Ruzabel currently oversees these transitions. Very few
meet the demon Lords impossible standards. There are a few demons
that devote their entire lives to reaching this goal. One Pleasure
Gorgon of note is the creature Vha’dra. Vha’dra has lived much of
his life in direct service to Dark Lord Ruzabel. He often acts as
the eyes and ears of the Shadow Throne. He is simultaneously revered
and despised by all demon kind and his ties to the Shadow Throne
make him an undeniable asset to certain demon nobility Havoc demon
and gorgon alike! Nehra encounters this ancient gorgon as a
juvenile. The encounter most certainly indicates a significant
foreshadowed event in Nehra’s destiny.

Pleasure Gorgons Lust, greed, vanity: All these things describe
the nature of the Pleasure Gorgon tribe. These specialized demons have the power
to cause instantaneous bliss with a single touch. They covet all that is
material and are the apogee of self-worship. Lesser pleasure gorgons are common
among the ancient forests of the mortal world, Trugan, and the
remote corners of the upper realm, Yetra. The
majority of these lesser gorgons are harmless and generally stick to causing mischief. The
Greater pleasure gorgon, however, is much deadlier in design. These beguiling
creatures
possess a devastating physical assault. A single touch can deliver such a mind numbing
surge of ecstasy that can stop mortal hearts or cause a permanent state of
delirium. It is a common gift, but only the most diligent gorgon can harness the
heightened level of focus to actually slay their victims. During combat the pleasure gorgon is a truly difficult
foe. Physical attack is virtually impossible and such a gorgon
can easily heal minor wounds rapidly. Only the divine Elan warriors of
Yetra have battled warrior class gorgons. Fewer still have lived to tell their
tale.

Hahtra
Bhevya ~ Ruler of the gorgon demesne;
Sebalia. Queen
of the Pleasure Gorgon tribe. A powerful and terrible ruler, she quickly lost favor among her kind for
her particularly cruel, perverse behavior towards her subjects.
Hahtra disbanded the warrior sect and made a
inexcusable treaty with a bordering Havoc Demon Clan; to patrol
Sebalia's borders. In return, the flesh eating
beasts could feast upon her scraps and live among the fertile
lands of gorgon kind. She then forced neighboring allies out of
Sebalia, slaughtered the defiant and buried centuries of gorgon history
beneath the rubble of her machinations. There were those among gorgon
nobility who initially defied her bizarre sort of rule. They were
dealt with by deadly force. Over the centuries Hahtra's taste for
the young gorgon children of her subjects rose considerably. Hahtra made
a habit of plucking newborns from powerless unsuspecting tribes and
adding them to her vast harem. Many children were never seen again. Not surprisingly one of those very children caste
this abhorrent sovereign from her beloved throne ending
her brutal reign. His name? Nehrashti....

Lord
Nehrashti Shrivastava (Nehra)
Nehra became one of Hahtra's favored pets at an early age. Hahtra
seduced him, psychologically tortured him; molesting his mind and body.
Over countless decades she broke him and molded Nehra in to an
subservient concubine.
However, fate would have it that there was much more in store for
Nehrashti Shrivastava. Nehrashti survived his unpleasant youth. As an adult this crafty young gorgon matched the Queen's insatiable
desires and placated the gorgoness in to submission. Nehra
gathered his wits and a cast of unlikely allies and took control of the
gorgon tribes.
He ousted the loathsome havoc demons from Sebalia and eventually
augmented the weakening
influence of the gorgon
realm. First impressions of the gorgon king are that of a
mischievous seductor. One can easily forget the true power
that lies behind his dashing smile. When Nehra is not cavorting
with in his extensive harem, attending his sizable court or throwing a
massive soirée, you'll probably find him with in the
affectionate embrace of his lover and dear companion -
Dremma.
Technical Difficulties be damned!

Dremma Devghan Once a
nameless face among Hahtra's extensive harem, Dremma found himself to be
smitten by young Nehra. Sharing in the
horrors of Hahtra's tyranny drew them close to one another and they soon
became inseparable. When Nehra ascended to the gorgon throne Dremma
became Nehra's trusted advisor. Dremma often acts a Nehra's voice
of reason - there are times when Nehra forgets himself. ^_^
Dremma is not a gorgon, however he is a indigenous
species of Shaadiv. All is explained in the story
Shrivastava. The colored image of Dremma is dated -
Dremma no longer has horns or those odd hands. So please excuse
the anomalies.

Elu is someone from Nehra's past. He has a pivotal
role during Nehra's ascendance
to power.

Havoc
Demons Pain, deceit, fear, hatred, plague and pestilence. These things make up the demon tribe of
Havoc. Where ever there is war, famine and strife you will likely find the presence
of a demon of Havoc. These wicked spawn crave the agony of mortals and feed from dark energies caused by conflict,
pain and war. Lesser Havoc demons exist in small areas of Trugan such
as ogres, orcs, trolls and various imps which dwell in the dark ancient forests. The Greater demons of Havoc dwell
solely in Shaadiv. Powerful and anxious to spill mortal blood, greater demon's of havoc are ruthless and cunning. The Demon's of Havoc lead The Dark Horde in to battle with the Elundri of
Yetra during the Dark War.

Lord Eristock
Ghendri
He is the ruler of the tribes of Havoc. Hungering for the slaughter of battle, Eristock embarks on a campaign
of terror in hopes to usurp the Balance. He manages to conjure a fragment
of Dark Magic, a deadly spell that gives him the power to control the
mind and soul of any
being he sets it upon. This affliction is simply labeled: The Curse. To call
him evil would be an understatement.

Kontagion
/kän-tag-yon/ The oldest most illusive and terribly powerful demon tribe, the
Contagion. Holding no physical form, these beings appear to be massive dancing clouds of shadow. They possess the
highest concentration of Dark Magic that any demon serving the Dark Lord can have. When the Three realms were as one the
Contagion ruled all. When the three realms came to be and all demon's were caste to the lower realm, The Dark Lord Ruzabel, strongest of the
Kontagion, took control of the newly created
Shaadiv.
Unknown to all, more importantly the tribes enemies, the Kontagion are slowly dieing off. The Dark Lord grows old.
Perhaps he awaits his demise...or could it be his rebirth?
|
|
Torynt
This youngling of his race becomes a
pawn in Eristock's quest for war. Despite Torynt's youth, this
Kontagion still poses a great threat to all. |

 |
The Vampire Clan The sudden appearance of this species of blood
thirsty demons remains a mystery to the inhabitants of Shaadiv. Considered lowly beasts driven mad by their
intense desire to drink mortal blood, the Vampires are shunned and are placed
low in the demon
hierarchy. However, this small tribe is slowly growing. The leader of the tribe, a female, Tamalia, will no longer tolerate her kind being
ridiculed and cast aside so easily.
